There are a number of ways to view and order our images. CD-ROM Catalogue Our range of CD-ROM's cover the entire library both National and International. We are able to write custom CD-ROM's for clients who have particular subject interests. Our CD-ROM's are easily searchable. Images may be located by Region, Subject or Mood (through keywords) and searches may be restricted to predefined film formats. When time is short, we are able to e-mail a selection of images to you. These are JPEG compressed so we are able to send 30 or 40 images in very little time. You can quickly narrow the selection down to a few " most likely " images, which we can then e-mail to you in a larger file size for you to view full screen or down load for layout. |
| Colour Proof Sheets We are able to courier you a selection of colour proofs of any images from our files. Transparencies The old tried and true system still exists, if none of the other systems suit, we are still able to courier a selection of original transparencies. High Resolution Scans These are produced on a Crossfield Drum scanner or on our in-house Imacon 848 scanner.Images will be scanned to size and delivered as RGB tiff files on CD or as jpg transmitted through our ftp site. Ordering Images When you have decided which images you wish to use, we can supply them as a high resolution files transmitted via ftp, courier on CD, or courier the original transparencies. Pricing Before we are able to give you a price for use we need to know the following details :-
All images in my catalogue or discs are the property of Andris Apse. Under copyright law, it is illegal for anyone to reproduce them without written permission. The right to reproduce an image is granted after the reproduction fee has been negotiated, invoiced and paid. However, you are free to use the digital images from my web site, emails or CD's for layouts at no charge. Original transparencies are mounted on card mounts in transparent archival film. The transparency is attached to the mount with seals which carry the warning " If this seal is disturbed in any way a usage fee will be charged." If the transparency is removed from the mount a fee will be charged to cover the cost of printing new bar code, title, address and conditions stickers plus cleaning and remounting of the transparency.
